LEVEREDGE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information LeverEdge (“LeverEdge”, “we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. LeverEdge is an educational research platform built around simulated trading data; the market and performance data we display concerns our simulated trading model, not personal information about you.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information you give us — your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password.
  • Preferences and content you create — your notification settings and any messages you send us through the Service.
  • Usage and technical data generated automatically — such as log data, device and browser information, IP address, and similar diagnostic information used to operate and secure the Service.
  • Cookies and similar technologies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to run the Service. We do not use them to sell your data.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not send it to us.

3. How we use information

  • to create and administer your account and provide the Service;
  • to authenticate you, secure the Service, and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • to deliver the alerts and features you configure;
  • to process membership and payments (through our payment processors);
  • to respond to your requests and communicate service and account notices; and
  • to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Our lawful bases for processing include performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with:

  • service providers who process data on our behalf (for example hosting, payment processing, and email delivery), under contracts that limit their use of it;
  • authorities or third parties where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition.

5. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here — typically for the life of your account and a reasonable period afterward — and then delete or anonymize it, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including password hashing and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach of security affecting your personal information creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada). You can exercise these rights, or ask a question, by emailing contact@leveredgealgo.com, and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. International users and children

We may process and store information in countries other than yours; where we do, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection. The Service is not directed to children and is intended only for users who are of the age of majority where they live. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Communications and consent

We send transactional messages necessary to run the Service — for example email verification, password resets, security notices, and billing confirmations. These are part of providing the Service and are not marketing.

We will only send you promotional or marketing emails where we have your consent or are otherwise permitted to under applicable law, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every such message identifies us and includes an easy way to unsubscribe; you can opt out at any time without affecting the transactional messages needed to operate your account.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. For any privacy question or request, email contact@leveredgealgo.com. See also our Terms of Service.
